These two photos are from yesterday. A wonderful day. Today this is gone. The temperature increased several degrees and it is raining.
The first shot is what you see when you lay down on the snow between some trees and look up to the sky.

ReplyDeleteWow that is a lot of snow on those trees, and its all gone how sad. Love that first shot i thought maybe you had a side shot there, Very nice
ReplyDeleteThis post makes me smile and I tried to remember when was the last time I did it. Some....20 years ago:(... We finally have some snow here, so will do it tomorrow, thanks for idea. Photos are perfect, of course!
beautiful wintry scene, and on the previous post too.
ReplyDeleteWonderful Ivar, and your post before - WOW factor.
ReplyDeleteI love the perspective of the first shot
ReplyDeleteAn Arkie's Musings
You were not making snow angels then in the first picture.
ReplyDeleteSo much snow, lovely pictures thank, you for sharing.
Wonderful photos! I like the shape formed by the 'negative space' of the sky with the trees round, on the first one also.
ReplyDeleteThe blue colour palette is so tranquil and meditative.
I wish I could read Norwegian - I keep trying to in some of your comments. The word 'flott' comes up often - does this mean wonderful or beautiful or a similar meaning?
So beautiful. I've never seen snow like this before. It doesn't really snow here. It just kind of freezing-rains and ices. I'd love to see that snow in person--even if I was freezing my tail off!
ReplyDeleteI remember snow. I don't see it anymore. All we seem to get these days is rain and ice storms. Your pictures are wonderful! Thank you for the wintry meditation.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDelete:-)
ReplyDeleteHar du vært ængel i snøøn?

ReplyDeleteThe sky between the tree tops in the first pictures resembles the form of a snowflake, beautiful! Too bad all this beauty did not last.
Fantastic shots, you captured them perfectly. I'm not a fan of winter but you definately showed its beauty.
ReplyDeleteCheers and Happy New Year!

Great photo like a picture of silence. Cooling to see in the southern hemisphere summer.
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking, Ivar! Our snow came and went like that, too, a couple of weeks ago. Thanks, as always, have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are spectacular, Ivar! The perspectives really catch your eyes and gives you a sense of awe. I had to scroll down to look at all your other photos. I am very, very impressed.
ReplyDeleteWow.
If I saw that much snow, I'd just go back in the house. You sure made the most of it.
ReplyDeleteBTW, congratulations on being selected as a Blog of Note - I hope thousands more come over here to see your amazing photographs.

ReplyDeleteIt's definitely wintertime in Tronheim, Ivar. Most impressive to someone in florida. This is why I love SWF soooo much!

Hello I really like your blog, I would like a link exchange with you, I insert your blog to my favorite blogs ;)
Beautiful snow pictures against the sky. Makes me miss the snow - for a minute. When the temperature rises and it starts to rain, that's another thing altogether!
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots!
ReplyDeletePaz

Kaunista, kaunista lumista metsää. Kuin puut puhuisivat toisilleen. Meillä Suomessakin täällä etelässä on joskus noin lumista, Lapissa lähes aina.
ReplyDeleteI love your shots man. Gotta love those landscape shots. They make me feel calm.
