SkyWatch Friday

I watched this wonderful sunset this week when I was passing through the city of Namsos. I am standing at the harbour looking south west across the fjord. It was a cold afternoon. Your can see some ice in the water.

Hurtigruten/The Coastal Express

We like to say that a travel with Hurtigruten along the coastline and fjords of Norway, is the worlds most beautiful voyage. You can travel from Bergen to Kirkenes and back.

Please go in to their website for more information.

I shot this picture of Hurtigruten Trollfjord Monday this week from my window at Pirsenteret, an office building in Trondheim. The island you see is Munkholmen.

ABC Wednesday - L

L- for Left behind

In Norway we have a lot of ferries to transport people and vehicles across the fjords. Sometimes I have to drive a bit too fast to get to the ferry in time. Well, I have been left behind several times, but not last week when I had to cross the fjord Trondheimsfjorden. Lucky me :-)

Fjord view

Namsfjorden. Captured back in April 2005. You can see a small part of a suburb to the city Namsos. The snowy mountain to the left is called Hemnafjell.

A 'rusty' weekend

Took a trip away from the city this weekend. The sun was shining and I went out looking for something to capture.

Inspired by GundaM I shot some rusty objects :-)
