SkyWatch Friday

Here I am at mount Dovrefjell back in April this year. On a bright and sunny day with clear blue sky. This was a perfect day for me and the memories are glued to my brain. For an amateur like me to see and to photograph these great animals is just spectacular.

Musk Ox

I suddenly, but barely saw this creature when me and my friend Mr. Uskarp crossed mount Dovrefjell last week. We were both hoping to see musks again. It was laying down just about a hundred meters off the road.
As you can see we just had to stop and shoot some pictures. A great experience once again.

SkyWatch Friday

This is the musk ox. Me and my friend Mr. Uskarp aka Studio Natura went to the mountain region Dovrefjell looking for these great animals. We didn´t know where they were so this trip was kind a shot in the dark.
These four is part of a herd of 17 animals including 4 calfs. The musk ox average measures are 250 kg, 2 meters long and shoulder height around 1,4 meters.
These animals can be seen in Alaska, Greenland, Canada and Norway. Here in Norway we have only 200 of them.
