My World Tuesday

Today I will show you the office building where my company and many others are located.
This is Pirsenteret. We are lucky to have some of the offices with a view to the fjord as in the last picture.

This is the beautiful view across Trondheimsfjorden. You can see Munkholmen to the left.

My World Tuesday

Munkholmen (Norwegian, meaning the monk's islet) is an islet north of TrondheimNorway in the Trondheimsfjord. The islet has served as a place of execution, a monastery, a fortress, prison, and a World War II anti-aircraft gun station. Today, Munkholmen is a popular tourist attraction and recreation site. I captured this  from a helicopter back in May 2005.

For more information about Munkholmen, go to wikipedia.

Hurtigruten/The Coastal Express

We like to say that a travel with Hurtigruten along the coastline and fjords of Norway, is the worlds most beautiful voyage. You can travel from Bergen to Kirkenes and back.

Please go in to their website for more information.

I shot this picture of Hurtigruten Trollfjord Monday this week from my window at Pirsenteret, an office building in Trondheim. The island you see is Munkholmen.
