I've had some busy days lately, and I know that those to come will be too.
But I feel lucky anyway, because I can do both business and pleasure. Going by snowmobile is not a walk in a park, it is harder than it looks like, but it is funny after all.
Yesterday was the coldest so far, -17.5 C outside and +21C inside my car.
These last pics are captured with my cellphone cam yesterday, hence the lower quality.
I am sorry for not visiting you so often, but I will try to find some time the next days.
Lots of people tell me it isn't so bad to go from salt to a no salt diet but it isn't good yet and fried potatoes just don't taste right without salt and pepper.
ReplyDeleteI am working on liking what I eat. I gave up my coffee and now drink one or two of decaf.
I just can't get around like I did. I came and saw all your beautiful photos and am impressed by your Nature.
ReplyDeleteIt occurs to me that if you live in Norway, you had better learn to photograph snow. I’m stunned by how wonderful your images are. I would not have had the courage to try the snowmobile shot, but you seem to have mastered the tough lighting. Again, this is a fun place to visit because it is unlike where I photograph and I enjoy seeing what others do.
ReplyDeleteEn fantastisk serie med vinterbilder, kjempebra.God helg!
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised your cameras work when it's this cold. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful! I'm also laughing at Jan's comment.
ReplyDeleteMan bare SER at det er kaldt.
ReplyDeleteVinterNorge!! deilig å...
Walking in a winterwonderland... Norge er vakkert;)
ReplyDeleteUnbelievable stunning photos! Just like Steve B I'm impressed of the lighting in the snow mobile photo. You're a real professional!
ReplyDeleteAnd I've said it before, but I have to say it again - you live in a very beautiful corner of the world.
Hallo Ivar,
ReplyDeletewunderful to see winterphotos from Norway.
I m following weatherconditions every day and hope it will be a little bit colder in the southern parts nexts days and snow will stay till Christmas.
Hilser Hartmut
Wow! All that snow and it looks very cold. Brrr! ;-)
ReplyDeleteYes, even when you're busy try to have some fun.
Best,
Paz
Ja fine bilder imponerene den fossen.
ReplyDeleteAny photos of your quality make my heart warm, and proud to know your site.
ReplyDeleteFabulous !!!
Utrolig flotte bilder.
Ivar,
ReplyDeleteYour pics show how cold it is where you are, but they still have warmth in them. I'v wanted to visit Norway and your pictures have only increased that goal. Great job and I hope you find time to post more of your wonderful photos.
Take Care!

ReplyDeleteImpressed with your equipment that performs in such cold weather. Like the top shot the best of this series. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteincredible photos, amazing life
ReplyDeletei believe that -17 degrees celsius is too cold for walking outside (according to my friend in alaska)...
ReplyDeleteYour waterfall photo is exquisite and captivating. You live in a beautiful country. Thanks for sharing your view of Nature.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous images.
ReplyDeleteI just am getting back from a week of PC problems - and happy that I can be out and play again! ;)
Cheers, Klaus
You know I'm envious of your scenery now, right. This is a landscape I seldom see in person.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! That is a very good photo from the cell phone.
ReplyDeleteWow amazing. Very beautiful photos of the waterfall. It looked so cold...brrrrr.
ReplyDeleteYet another beautiful series and the extreme cold is clearly felt not just seen.
ReplyDeleteI am in awe of your work. You have such incredible scenery to work with, but it has to be challenging with all of the white. I'm such an amateur who is still learning about light and speed, and to see your work just inspires me. Thank you so much for sharing your gift.

ReplyDeleteIvar: I really love that first photo of the water flow. That is an excptional cature. The tree is also cool.
Very nice shots again, even with your cell! Pretty amazing what one can do with those little cams these days:)
ReplyDeleteSeems like full winter allready.
Hi Ivar, -17.5 is far too cold for me. Our temperature is 18c at the moment - very pleasant.
ReplyDeleteAnyway the snow makes for nice pictures.
These are wonderful pictures you have shared with us. hank you.
ReplyDeleteI like that you have the condensed air vapor showing also.
Klemmer**
ReplyDeleteAll are impressive snaps ........
ReplyDeleteI am here for the first time, what a beautiful series.

These pictures are surreal for me living in the Equator...very nice and you have a very artistic eye. I don't think I will have opportunity to see those pictures in real, so this really helps me to see other side of the world. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are beautiful especially the first one.
