This is an attempt to create a HDR picture. 9 different exposures merged together.
I was watching this sunset monday this week. You see the lake Snåsavatn, north of Trondheim.
If you want to see more sunsets, sunrises, clouds and skies, please visit SWF Homepage.
Have a beautiful weekend.
WOW! That is breathtaking!~ Happy SWF:)
ReplyDeleteThe end result is amazing, although I am guessing that any of those 9 is in itself amazing as well.
ReplyDeleteI could feel the size of the sea. It's fab with the sunset low in the horizon like this.
Klemmer**
ReplyDeletewhich planet is this? ;) Sky and see are in motion and I like it!
ReplyDeleteDo you merge the pic with photoshop?
Incredibly beautiful. WOW! I need to look into HDR. ;-)
ReplyDeleteWOW! Very impressive!
ReplyDeleteWhich software did you use?
A stunning photo, it looks like you got the HDR down pretty good. The colors, softness and composition are just fantastic.
ReplyDeleteYes, the first one is a reflection, than my son throws a stone into the pond. You see the water ripples at the second photo.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your answer about the software.
Al these shades are incredible. Great photo.
ReplyDeleteThis is an intense photo, Ivar. Amazing!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is stunning! The colors are beautiful and I love that it looks as if you took this eye level with the water.
ReplyDeleteI think we were looking at the same sky today! Yayyy!
This photograph is absolutely magnificent, Ivar!
ReplyDeleteGreat HDR pict, Ivar !
ReplyDeleteAnother fantastic SkyWatch Ivar. Truly breathtaking.
ReplyDeleteMarit
I don't understand the technology you mentioned, but the results are spectacular!
ReplyDeleteGood to start something new. To create HDR pictures is exciting because colours are changing in a nice way.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunset in the center and nice changeable blue colour.
Ha en fin SWF,
Hilsen Hartmut
What gorgeous creativity - I absolutely love your photo.
ReplyDeleteVakkert Ivar.
I always look forward to seeing your photos and you NEVER disappoint. Again, simply amazing. Happy Friday! :D
ReplyDeleteOh my, that is perfection.
ReplyDeleteWOW WOW WOW, that is just amazing!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot Ivar, so beautiful.
ReplyDeletePraktfullt! Likte så godt dybden i bildet:) Her er ikke like vakkert hver dag her hos meg.
God helg!

ReplyDeleteVery beautiful photo. Love the colourful sky reflecting in the water. Have a nice weekend.
Innmari flott lys og stemning her :).
ReplyDeleteTruly amazing.
ReplyDeleteAn awesome shot!
ReplyDeletePaz

Magnificent and magical landscape and sky! I don't know what else to say, this photo surely made many people here speechless.
You are lucky to experience such a beautiful sky. Thanks for sharing it *)
ReplyDeleteSuz
It is magnificent! How do you do the HDR? In photoshop?
ReplyDeleteI've been resisting it so far, but some day I'm going to try this HDR stuff...
ReplyDeleteWell I would say it sorked very successfully Ivar - stunning reflection and photo

A stunning wide angle view which draws the eye to the focal point which is the sunrise - well done!
ReplyDeleteSomeone forgot to turn the light off!
ReplyDeleteGreat talented work. The best is that I don't even imagine the technic for this picture, I just dream watching it.
Gorgeous! And the colors are peaceful and vivid at the same time.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend.
Wow - I'd call this one a success. I haven't played around with HRD, but you're certainly inspiring me to do so.
ReplyDeleteThe result is very impressive, amazing.
ReplyDeleteOne of these days, i´ll try something like this. Could you tell me, please, how did you did it?
What software did you use to make the HDR picture?
(hope you understand my bad english, ... sorry)
That's a grand picture Ivar.
ReplyDeleteNice effect.
Great shot that shows the dimension of the area. The cloud reflection really adds to the image.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea how the 9 exposures helped it but it looks great. The partially rippled water adds a lot.
ReplyDeletenice hdr, thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteMind-boggling....
ReplyDeleteVery nice picture and effect
ReplyDeleteIvar- I think you have done quite well. Balancing realism with imagination is the tricky part in HDR, and I think you've presented a very real looking image.
ReplyDeleteTom
Incredible. Stunning landscape shot Ivar. One of your very best...Thomas
ReplyDeleteStunning! I'll have to look into HDR! Even though I'll look into it, I'll never accomplish anything as gorgeous as this! Great job!
ReplyDeleteThis is surprising HDR picture.
ReplyDeleteYou live in a beautiful world.
You make splendid photographs ! ! !
