  5. Cool in every way must be the description - no doubt at what is the prevailing direction of the wind!

    Norwegian winter in a nutshell.

  6. That is an impressive photograph and reminded me of northern Japan in 1953 when I, a 19 year old Army private, stood at attention in a blizzard for rifle inspection. I was cold but also scared to death. My rifle bolt froze in the open position just after I opened it for the company commander to check the rifle and he couldn't get it closed. It froze in the open position almost instantly. Anyway. That experience was brought back to me in an instant when I saw this wonderful photograph.

  9. Yikes!

One morning last winter, I woke up to our downed power line that buckled beneath the weight of 1 inch thick ice.....your photo reminds me of that 24 hours without power! Boy was I itching to check my email :o)

  12. Wow. Amazing and beautiful. I'm in Southern Cal and don't get much snow except occasionally in the mountains. This is amazing to me.

  16. Det der ser iskaldt ut. Men du verden så fint. Utrolig at du klarte å holde apparatet i gang. Pleier det ikke å fryse slik at batteriet stopper opp?
