Outside it is 7o Celsius and the rain is pouring down. The wind is tearing leafs off the trees.
October and November are two long months with variable weather. Forecast for the next two weeks is miserable. I DON’T LIKE IT !
I want it like this picture. This frozen lake is called Leksdalsvatnet, just south of Steinkjer.
(I shot this with another camera 3 years ago)
Really nice photo.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the nice comments.

...brrr,the winter cold...mauri
ReplyDeleteOh I love snow! Looking forward to the winter sets in :) And while we wait, we have a copple of months availible to get things done inside.
ReplyDeleteKjempe fint vinterbilde!
ReplyDeleteNåja, for min del så kan den vente litt til. Men er enig at vinter med snø er bedre en regn og vind.
Ha en flott uke!
posting snow for you on my blog
ReplyDeleteOutside it is 7o Celsius and the rain is pouring down. The wind is tearing leafs off the trees.
ReplyDeleteAnd still you show the beauty in your dreams
:)
For those of us from nordic climes permanently banished to the antipodes that picture is balm to the soul.I love crisp winters with thick snow and ice flowers on the windows...delicious aromas issuing from the oven and crackling fires. These things for me are what dreams are made of.
ReplyDeletevery cool shot. every seasons has beautiful moments. and you show as one of it. well done
ReplyDeleteI loved the picture, but I prefer it the way it was in August with 20 degrees plus :-).
ReplyDeleteWonderful picture, so calm and peaceful!
ReplyDeleteIt's -5 C right now but no snow and it could be a while before we get it... sometimes we get cold temperature for so long time but see lots of snow in the mountains... we drove up yesterday and the pass had 20 cm of snow and we did NOT expect that... we were not prepared!!
ReplyDeleteNo snow tires on the JEEP yet... LOL
That's a beautiful picture IVAR... I will think hard for snow your way!!

Ivar: I do love the view but let me stay in the Fall with it's beauty.
ReplyDeletethis is my first visit to yourt blog ! I love snow, we hardly ever have any where I live (in the south west of France)... and this is a great scenery !
ReplyDeletelovely picture. so sorry about your rainy weather. hope you feel up to it to go outside and take some more photos.
ReplyDeleteenjoy your week.
I can wait any longer for winter too.
ReplyDeletei am definitely looking forward to winter, but i hope i only see this kind of winter at an organised ski field! greeks are not very good at coping with snow...
ReplyDeleteI like winter too...but I'm not unhappy with the beautiful fall weather we're having right now in Ontario, Canada. ;-)
May you get your wish. ;-)

You're kidding, right...that is a beautiful, perfect scene, but your winters would finish me off...my bones would never thaw back out! lol
ReplyDeleteHello Ivar. I found your blog via Fugazi's blog. I have also seen your comments on Abe Lincoln's blog. I love this shot. I enjoy winter and snow, just hate driving on ice! LOL Our weather has been unseasonably warm for October. it is 11:30 at night and still 64 degrees F. It has been in the 80's for a couple of days. You have some very beautiful pictures here. I will be back to see more.
ReplyDeleteLisa
Yes you are right, we should switch over to the wintertime right now.
ReplyDelete... or I can just have a look to my old winter-slides.
Have a nice week
Hartmut
Astonishing, as always!
ReplyDeleteLovely snow. I love snow. and it's DEFINITELy much better than the rainy weather autumn can bring. I'm look forward to more of your winter shots!
