SkyWatch Friday



My summer vacation is soon over and I have had 4 wonderful weeks. Great weather all the time.
This shot is from last week. Captured at 10:51 PM on 4th of July. At my place we don´t see the midnight sun but it never gets dark anyway. For me it is something special to sit up all night with family and friends, enjoying summer and spending time with each other.

    a golden moment captured there...actually has more of a bronze tint. beautiful. i cannot imagine days without darkness.

    What a gorgeous golden photo!
    Being so near the equator, it is so hard for me to imagine having sunlight so late in the evening.

    Except for the wind turbines it is like an illustration for an old fasioned Boy's Own adventure magazine. Just lovely rowing into the sunset with friends.
