SkyWatch Friday

Today I post two pics that I captured on Tuesday this week. Me and my colleague went west of Trondheim, to Mount Kopparn. It was, and it still is, a great view from the top. Here looking west out to the Atlantic Ocean.

If you go straight west from this point (at latitude N63 48´18", please remember to bring your camera, batteries and extra memory cards) you will first come to Iceland south of Reykjavik, then Greenland south of Nuuk, and you have to go north of Hudson Bay. Crossing Canada into Alaska. Now you have to swim across Bering Strait, run across Siberia in Russia into Finland and Sweden. When you are back in Norway I believe you feel for a hot shower and a cold beer. Please ring on my doorbell and I will help you. Well, you need to shower alone, but we can have a beer together.

For more skies around this wonderful globe, please visit SWF Homepage. Feel free to join.
I wish you all a sunny weekend.

  1. Well Ivar that sounds like the voyages the Vikings made. First Iceland then Greenland then America. They were every where! Great pictures Ivar! Have a nice SWF.

  6. Nydelige bilder! For en fantastisk blåfarge, slikt en nesten bare kan fange ved kysten. Selv vindmøllene blir jo vakre på det bildet!

Men det var da litt av en rundtur du sender oss på! ;-)

I did not comment for a long time, but the chance for a beer in Trondheim let me start again.
