Yesterday morning I shot these photos. I have never seen so many swans together before. It was a cold and wonderful experience.

Beautiful. I feel as though I can see the cold, in all the blue...
ReplyDeleteThey seem to have longer beaks than the swans we have here.
I think swans are such beautiful creatures :) What great shots!
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots! Love the closeup of the two. I can actually see ice on their feathers!
ReplyDeleteBeauty finds you every where you go. I am so glad that you are there to great it.
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your blog Tuesday, thanks to my friend, Corvus. You've become my daily, must-have dose of eye candy.
ReplyDeleteI can't offer photography help, but you've definitely got my sincere appreciation for the beauty I've seen. It's there even in the photos of office buildings. And the swans photos are so absolutely beautiful.
Thanks for sharing it all with us!
Känns mycket avlägset nu just!
ReplyDeleteAs beautiful as they are, they are mean evil creatures (kidding)
ReplyDeleteI approached a nestfull of goose eggs as I was trimming the grass around a water hazard at a country club, I was lucky to escape unscathed, they are very protective of their eggs.
Nydelige bilder. Fuglene er også skjønne, høyreiste og stolte :)
ReplyDeleteLäckert!! Måste varit en upplevelse!
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for them in that cold, cold water...but then I guess they're made to take it!
ReplyDeleteI have always loved the swan as far back as I can remember. Your photos are stunning and yes they are very protective of their young - good little mothers :)
ReplyDeletelove the close-ups of the swans, Somehow your color setings are so clear!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful captures of these graceful birds, thanks for posting.
ReplyDeleteOh! what a delight. You are very talented.
ReplyDeleteI too have never seen that man in one place.
KK

Some of these swans have ice on their backs!
ReplyDeleteIvar: Those captures are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYour world is beautiful, but these swans have captured my heart!
ReplyDeleteAwesome series. Some of your best I've seen thus far. I like the colors in their bill. Blue Skies.
ReplyDeleteStunning Ivar. I love Swans so this was an incredible treat. Absolutely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThey must feel warmer if they are closer to each other. Maybe:-)These swans have a black beak that I´m not used to. Must be some other species in Norway.

Are those ice formation on the swan's feather?
ReplyDeleteCaption for the first shot: The happy couple. I love these.
ReplyDeleteIvar, I came to look at your SkyWatch photo which is very nice, but I especially like the swan photos. Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Thank you for taking the time to show us all of your excellent pictures. The swans in the close-up seem so wise and peaceful.
ReplyDeleteHi, EB says, 'can see the cold' I agree, its the colours and the way the light is reflecting on the water. It seems the sun is quite low in the sky maybe?
ReplyDeleteThe swans are beautiful.
these shots are so crisp and clear... beautiful ivar! :)
