Bridges Between / My World Tuesday

Today I combine two memes in one post. I will add Bridges Between into My World Tuesday.

This brigde is located in Trondheim connecting the city center and Nedre Elvehavn.
The bridge is crossing the river Nidelven. In Trondheim we like to call this bridge Blomsterbrua, The Flower Bridge. Because in the summertime there are lots of flowers planted out along the hand rail on both sides.

Behind the bridge you can see a part of Rica Nidelven Hotel.

Here you are looking towards Nedre Elvehavn and Solsiden Shopping center.

For more Bridges, please visit RuneE.

Some minutes away from the Flower Bridge you will find Nidaros Cathedral.
This wonderful cathedral was built between 1070 and 1300.

For more photos around the exciting world, please visit My World Tuesday. Feel free to join.

  1. That's quite a church Ivar. You've captured it well. I can't help but wonder how old some of the grave stones are since the church is so old. I'll bet they all died from freezing to death ... lol!!!

Beautiful bridge as well. I'm assuming it is a foot bridge? I can only imagine how wonderful it must look with flowers lining each side. It must be a lot of work to take care of them all!

  11. What fabulous and beautiful places. I love the curve of the bridge. The cathedral is fantastic. One must wonder if they are so spectacular or if you capture them so well that they are. I think they must be incredible, but not every picture would show them as such as yours do.

When are you going to get some real snow there? Michigan way has you beat, haha.
