My World Tuesday

These photos were captured in November 2008. In the top one, you can see St. Olavs Hospital in front and Tyholt Tower in the back.
In the last one you can also see Nidaros Cathedral in the middle, and the city center to the left of the cathedral.

For more pictures from our world, please visit My World Tuesday.

  1. I like the day and night views of essentially the same scene. The Tybolt Tower looks a lot like Seattle's Space Needle, at least at this distance.

  8. Great vantage points, Ivar. In the second shot I can see even farther beyond the city. Great cityscape!

  9. I admire the purity in those images and the attention to detail. The sky in the second one makes me want to dive in it.

But I can't help wondering - what's the semi-star looking light in the bottom?

  15. Beautiful images of the city! You also have some great snow pictures. Beautiful stuff, but hard to get anywhere quickly when it is that deep.

  16. These are magnificent pictures, but "the sleeping dog" from the previous post is far more interesting because it reminded me on some earlier times when I used to climb antenna towers :-). Greetings from Croatia

  21. A few years ago I was in Trondheim and enjoyed walking about. I was there with a Norwegian cousin. We had to walk, so I saw only a small part of Trondheim. I had no idea that the city was that large. Thanks for showing!

  24. Wow Ivar! That first shot is incredibly beautiful! It reminds me of downtown St.Paul, Minnesota, US; the lights of the city line stretch for miles.

A perfect shot; good for you!

PS Takk for kommentaren!

  27. OH, that's nice!

I was an erasmus student here in Trondheim for autumn semester. I miss Trondheim and Norway sooo much! It's wonderful, cozy little town!

I just found your blog. Now you will have one more subscriber. :) I wish I would have found it earlier, then maybe we could have arranged some photo walk. :)

Now I'm trying to find some internship in Trondheim, so I could go back at least for some time! :)

    Wish you the best!
    Keep up the nice pics!

    Cheers,
    Mykolas

Men snart.....!
