We have a long, dark and cold winter here in Norway so this is the best time for us to go on vacation to warmer places. My shot for this week My World Tuesday is captured in Port El Kantaoui in Tunisia back in 2005.

I think I would like to go to this place even if my winter were not long (it usually isn't), cold and dark!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely place to visit...but you know what! It's NORWAY that's way higher up on my list of places I want to visit. ;-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful your warm world.
ReplyDeleteGrin - I just wanted to say that that isn't Norway as I know it....
ReplyDeleteI have to say, too - that I rather go to Norway than Tunesia for a vacation! I got that year round here in FL...
Cheers, Klaus
I too want to visit Norway someday. But I know now where you fly off to get some sun :D
ReplyDeleteIvar: I laughed at Klaus's remark. I would say, Norway in the summer and Florida in the winter.
It looks very beautiful! Still Norway is more beautiful, even if the winter lasts 4 or 5 months! In a couple of weeks I shall go to Egypt for a fortnight. It's an excursion along the Nile, but I'd rather go to Scandinavia.
ReplyDeletewell cool I don't recall where Tunisia is I will have to look it up thanks for sharing that
ReplyDeleteIt does seem like a nice place to visit and perhaps to call home.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful and I love the vantage point! However, I prefer something less crowded and warm, like a cabin with a cozy fire! I live in south Georgia and we have hot all the time!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures of Tuisia! The architecture looks great despite being modern!
ReplyDeleteThank you for coming to my blog! So you already visited Schladming and Ramsau! Next time, when it is too cold in Norway, you must come to Vienna for sure! :)
Makes me want to go immediately when I see these pictures.
ReplyDeleteLooks a great place to holliday at.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great place to go and get a break from winter.
ReplyDeleteDu klarer nesten å lure meg til "syden" med disse bildene. Og det er det ikke mange som klarer. Hi hi. Men så vakkert det var der! Skulle gjerne ha vært på en fotorundei de omgivelsene:)
ReplyDeleteIt looks pretty gorgeous to me.
ReplyDeleteLook how close you are to the water! Wonderful architecture!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I didn't know Tunisia was a vacation destination.
ReplyDeleteOh my I wish this was my world right now. I miuss the sea badly here and resorts like this
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely place for a warm up holiday but give me the clear, clean light of Norway, it's forests and lakes not to mention it's coast and the midnight sun in Narvik.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots Ivar.
Thank you for the wonderful tour. This 2nd week of meme really makes us appreciate the many places that we don't usually see or ever had a chance to visit like the one you showed me in this post. Hope you get to have time to check my world too. Another great job and more to come in the coming weeks.
ReplyDeleteYou must have a camera implanted on you so that you can take pics everywhere, like when swimming!:)
ReplyDeleteWOW! I think I want directly in holidays.
ReplyDeletePlease take a look at my blog. You have received the Arte y pico award! More information on my page. Thank you for your gorgeous and interesting photos!
ReplyDeleteexcellent place to chill out!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I love photos of blue skies and water. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteThat seems like a perfect getaway. Beautiful place and well portraited...Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteCheers
Thomas
Looks like a great place to go on holiday...
ReplyDeleteIt's been raining the whole day here in sunny Spain, it's lovely to see such a beautiful and warm place :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place to go! Even if you don't have long, dark winters! The water looks wonderful. Always enjoy your blogs!
ReplyDeleteLovely images - makes me want to take a vacation from the fall weather we are now in!
ReplyDeleteIt is raining heavily over here and although we had a fantastically pleasant September and October with summer temperatures, these photos are all the same inviting to go to the travel agency at once and book the next plane to where it is warm and sunny.
ReplyDeleteGreat post!
ReplyDeletethe right place for vacations
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Who wouldn't want to be there!
ReplyDeleteI can understand your need for sunshine and warmth after a long dark winter. Great post, thank you.
