SkyWatch Friday

swftom

DSC_3837_2

Sunset over Trondheim city. The tower is called Tyholttårnet, 128 meters high. There is a restaurant at 80 meters. It has a rotating floor and customers eating there can watch Trondheim "by air".  The floor rotate 360 degrees in 1 hour :-)

And the food is great ;-D

Hopefully that is not a future scenario of the way RBK is moving. Setting.

  8. Hi Ivar, I like your sunset picture. If you hadn't told us about the tower, I would have thought it was an Islamic mosque tower of Mamluk architecture.
    Happy Skywatching!

  11. We have a place like that in Atlanta, GA. It is atop a hotel that was moved over a foot or two during a tornado in downtown Atlanta in March this year. I love the red glow of your sunset!

  14. I think the food in the restaurant wouldn't matter a bit with a view like that. I LOVE the color in this sky. And no clouds to liven it up, but still amazing. Excellent capture.

  34. What an amazing color and landscape. Couldn't help noticing the tower pictures. Yikes, while I'm afraid of heights you certainly made it worthwhile getting such wonderful captures.
